Rick Crawford of Arkansas to be the next chairman of the House Intelligence Committee afterRep. Mike Turner was ousted from the role Wednesday, Johnson announced in a statement Thursday.

Crawford is a member of the House Intelligence Committee and is the most senior member of the committee after Turner.
