Spandan had started it’s journey led by four positive minds on 21st May, 1995, with Mr. Pijus Kanti Pal as Chairman and Managing director and Mr. Parthasarathi Mandal, Mr. Monaj Pati and Mr. Alok Kr. Ghosh as Directors. We started our initial journey with facilities like portable Sonography, Analogue X-Ray, Routine Pathology and ECG in a small 800 sq. ft rented space at Rabindranagar in the Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal. This initial acceleration was only the precursor to later progress when we added more number of units every year. Our brand started it’s very own CT scan unit, which we proudly say was the very first in a district town of West Bengal in 2000. Since 2002, Spandan has elevated journey on the new path of PPP (Private Public Partnership) model at Bankura Sammilani Medical College & Hospital. To mention other attempts at progress, our brand has added one feather after another in the hat by serving people both as a private (fully owned) enterprise and with different State Governments. To offer besthelsthcare in the district Spandan opened 101 bed Hospital in Midnapore. Currently, Spandan has been associated with the Government of West Bengal, Assam, Orissa and Bihar. A multispeaciality 150 bed hospital in the heart of Kolkata (Teghoria) is again one of the milestones Spandan Has crossed.To conclude, our brand has some exclusive contributions in the field of Medicine and Healthcare, some of which include the first PET CT, 3T MRI, First true Digital X-Ray in PPP model with the Government of West Bengal, the first and only PET CT scan at Guwahati, which enjoyed its monopoly during 2016 in the entire north-eastern region of India.
