His main areas of research interest are asset pricing, international finance, hedge funds, and household finance, and he has published papers on these topics in leading international journals such as theJournal of Finance, theJournal of Financial Economics, and theReview of Financial Studies.Tarun is an Executive Committee member of the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance, a Senior Academic Fellow of the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economics Research (ABFER), and a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He is an Economic Advisor to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), and Honorary Advisor to the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in New Delhi.
